terrorism...the facades of grey...

Terror strikes again, and at the same place ,maybe with greater ferocity after 15 years. In what the times now describes as the most planned terror attack in recent years, and perhaps the most devastating post 9/11,125 people have already been reported dead and more than 300 critically injured. As we ponder over the possible causes and repercussions of such a dastardly act,it is indeed worthwhile to once again pinpoint the flaws and defects that are prevalent in a country which promises a growth of 7% a year. One fundamental question:for whom is the country growing? Is it not the people working day in and day out who contribute towards growth, and are liable to enjoy it?Its indeed a shame that the concept of growth is so ironical,as you delve into the profound realization that a day might come when we may not have enough human resources to nurture growth and reap its benefits, with the janitor of hell opening its floodgates for us.”25 terrorists shoot down innocent plebians in a ghastly act”is what the major newspapers will read tomorrow.Like the earlier times, some politician with his moving rhetorics will tell us to be patient and keep faith in the authorities of the nation. But is it not a little too late?As our nation embarks on the pinnacle of development and so called economic boom, the pusillanimous politians, ministers and we the people need to realize that enough is enough. There is not a moment left to give a religious colour to terrorist attacks,as we have traditionally tended to do.Its time go press the moral button, and demand security. We do not give votes to die,do we?We demand more stringent vigilance, greater unity among the various political parties in providing security to the masses,a more refined and logical approach to governance on the whole. We,the masses, need to wage a war, need to come down to the streets and unite to save the last morsels of democracy from being obliterated from our nation.Buck up youth …buck up
